Pretty Exquisite - Blog - Elene // Ethereal and movement inspired editorial

Temos tantos, mas tantos trabalhos para vos mostrar que nem sabemos bem por onde começar. Por isso, resolvemos transformar cada quinta-feira no dia de portefólio, onde vamos tentar pelo menos neste dia, mostrar um projecto novo no qual tenhamos participado. Não prometemos cumprir sempre, mas vamos fazer (muito) por isso!

Assim, hoje trazemos um trabalho que não sabemos se vão acreditar, mas que já tem quase um ano. Sempre à espera do momento certo para o partilhar e que acabou por ficar injustamente em stand by. O editorial Elene é resultado de um grupo de pessoas que têm muita vontade de fazer coisas, das bonitas, e das quais já tivemos o privilégio de partilhar aqui algumas.

A ideia deste projecto partiu de uma das metades dos Branco Prata, a Sofia, cujo imaginário nos desafia sempre a criar imagens únicas e originais, que dão forma àquilo que começa com uma ideia, uma emoção:

I remember when my History of Art teacher first introduce me to Man Ray’s work! I was completely blown away by it, so powerful, so meaningful! He was a significant contributor to the Dada and Surrealist movements, although his ties to each were informal. He was best known for his photography but considered himself a painter above all! In 1937, Man Ray did a suite of drawings that were publish with poems by Paul Eluard. While studying those drawings i read a quote from Man Ray regarding that particular work… ‘In these drawings my hands are dreaming’…. this sentence stayed in the back of my head… well, for almost 20 years, and last November I finally decided to do something about it!

Today’s editorial IS NOT about ballet or ballerinas… today’s inspiration is a journey, inspired by movement, inspired by change and evolution of what we are and what we want to be! Today’s editorial is more personal that all of the others I was part of… today’s post intends to show you so much more that pretty faces or pretty florals…
